Where's Rayman? It's REALLY odd that they'd go through the effort of making a trophy and everything for him if they weren't actually going to put him in there. He might be the new unlockable mascot like Sonic and Snake were back in Brawl, filling one of the odd blank spots on the character roster. Or maybe Nintendo is still dealing with Ubisoft to include him as DLC in a future update?

They delayed Rayman's playable role. Speaking of him, was there any other 3rd party trophies confirmed?

I got too impatient and downloaded this on my JPN 3DS. I knew about all the characters and stuff, but I tried to avoid info on different modes and stuff, and it seems like there's a good amount of content here. Using the circle pad takes some getting used to; I definitely had to turn off circle pad jumping, and I was a bit disappointed that there's no d-pad option for fighting (it's stuck with taunts), but I'm getting the hang of it. If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask.

I just got the Club Nintendo Demo and it's a bit odd with the placement I'm used to, but there's no options to fiddle with.

If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask. Who is your favorite newcomer so far?

I saw pictures of trophies; how do those work? I missed the "gumball machine"...

You get more winnings/better chances depending on your Intensity/Difficulty rating

Malev - Yes, in the full game you can change the button layouts - anything but the circle pad and d pad. You change them by dragging the commands around and swapping them like that.
ZenithianHero - I haven't played a ton yet (I'll be able to put in a good few hours tomorrow and will probably have better answers tomorrow night), only one match of each of the default newcomers, but I'd have to say my favorites so far are Mega Man and Pac-Man. They just feel really good. I was thinking Rosalina + Luma would more or less replace Ice Climbers, but the Luma is pretty uninvolved, only really used as a projectile for one attack, unless I missed something.
I have to say in general, this game definitely has the Smash Bros. series' iconic insane amount of detail and little references to things. Pac-Man's recovery is Pac Pix-related. Being what I assume to be one of three people to beat that game years ago, I definitely got a kick out of that.

Should've had Alex Kidd, Master Higgins/Wonderboy, Simon Belmont, Rayman, Klonoa and Arthur (G'nG)
I will never be satisfied with any Smash roster.

Should've had Master Higgins/, Simon BelmontI will never be satisfied with any Smash roster. Dream Mix TV is over ------> That Way. In all seriousness, though, asking for too many 3rd Party characters is asking for licensing fees so high it doesn't make it worth it to the publisher anymore.

I was really let down by how much CV Judgment sucked. They should have just ripped off Soul Calibur verbatim and called it a day. I would have played an okayish SC clone with Castlevania characters for at least twenty hours, even without a human opponent. It was probably the biggest waste of Takeshi Obata's talent to date - even if some of his designs were pretty cool, few of them actually resembled the characters in question to any meaningful degree, and they transferred terribly into Wii-quality 3D models. Alucard doesn't even have his cape outside of his victory animation, most likely because they couldn't be bothered to program the rudimentary cloth physics. And where the hell was Soma?
Also, pissed that Akumajou Dracula: The Arcade never got a PS3 port with Move support. Even Sega managed to squeeze out one for HotD4, which I had already given up on hoping it would ever be ported.

A 2D Castlevania fighter sounds like a license to print money. A 3D Castlevania fighter...on the Wii...with character designs by the guy from Death Note??? No part of that equation makes a damn lick of sense.

Yeah, Soma's character design SCREAMS for a redesign in Death Note's style. Isn't he unlockable if you link up Judgement with Order Of Ecclesia, though? I remember doing so gives you quite a few things in-game. And Alucard looks downright weird without his cape! I bet that if Judgement was (re)released on HD consoles, it would be a million times better on all aspects. And this is coming from a huge Wii fan...
