I like them all just fine, though I've yet to hold an XL, but my favorite would have to be the DS lite. Aside from being lightweight, the button and d-pad are so soft, I don't damage the skin on my thumb like I used to with the regular DS playing hours of Mario Bros./kart. If I had to complain about anything with that system, it'd be the gba slot making the cartridge stick out, which was ever so slightly annoying.

i'm a big fan of most of the products in the DS/3DS line short of the N3DS. I'm particularly fond of the purple 3DS, too bad I don't own one.

I absolutely love my DS lite. It fits in pockets, purses, bags, and folds in on itself to protect the screen. If only it had the feel of the classic brick Gameboy though. The DS buttons are just too small for my hands. So... can't be perfect =\

Man, I wish my clothes had pockets big enough to hold a DS Lite. Or any handheld for that matter. Even the Game Boy Pocket and the Neo Geo Pocket won't fit in my pockets, haha. Well, I'm guessing the GBA Micro probably could, but I've never had the opportunity to try one out.

Sounds like you wear some tight pants. Speaking of pockets, I don't think they're gonna work for the XL...that could pose a problem for gaming on the go.

It is not visually striking, but the Sega Game gear has perfect ergonomy. I think handhelds that you hold horizontally rather than vertically, are always more comfortable.

Absolutely. The GG has the perfect distance between both hands and isn't really too heavy. Also opposed to others like the PSP it hasn't any sharp edges that hurt your hands after longer sessions. Though I also love the design. It's sleek and cool.
Hmmmm, I think one of the main reasons I like the Wuu Gamepad so much is that the handling feels almost like the GG

Speaking of handhelds you hold vertically, I personally liked the original Lynx, but I only played it once or twice. Yeah, it is big and wide, but for holding, it is really something. The Lynx II i don't like as much,it isn't as wide, but thicker..

elektrolurch : I was about to post something about the Lynx. I had one, and the ergonomy was good; as for the design, it wasn't ugly; it was simply diferent. I think it looks cool. Does anyone remember the PC-Engine Portable (Turbo Express)? It was bonkers expensive, and the screen was even not up to par; but its cool factor was undeniable. The ergonomy was good, too. It could have been a real hit: simply take some HuCards with you, and play them portable-style! Shame about the technology and the price. It looked pretty OK, not beautiful, but not ugly either.

I LOVE the design of the Turbo Express! It is so 80ies;) Generally speaking, I somehow love the look and feel of late 80ies early 90ies electronics, it feels more robust and substantial compared to the modern, flimsy, filigran thin look of everything. Plus, I simply love the design. But that's a matter of taste.

NeoGeo Pocket Color is probably my favorite in terms of design. Yessss. I own one of the metallic blue models; it's a little scratched up in places but is otherwise intact, and all it needed was a change of batteries to run perfectly. I love the feel of the stick, and I really wish other controllers had that!

Now this one is famous because of its awful design (ergonomy was not great either). What a flop - and once again, like the turbo express, on paper it was a surefire hit...

Sounds like you wear some tight pants. Speaking of pockets, I don't think they're gonna work for the XL...that could pose a problem for gaming on the go. Women's clothes often don't have any usable pockets. Kinda stupid. And the new3DSXL actually fits in my jeans I think. Hmmmm, I think one of the main reasons I like the Wuu Gamepad so much is that the handling feels almost like the GG The Wii U Gamepad is one of the most comfortable controllers out there, I think. I'm guessing it won't be competitable with Nintendo's next system, which would be a shame.

^ Lol, yes, most of my pants (if they even have pockets) barely hold my chapstick @__@. But, the DS still slides into my coat pockets or cardigan pockets =3

This is neither hear nor there, but what is with fashionistas being so anti-pockets? Women's clothing rarely has any useable ones, and during the summer, there was this odd campaign to cut down men's cargo shorts. Really? Excuse me for trying to have functionality in my clothing and have a convenient place to put things that isn't a huge bag I have to lug around everywhere.
