A lot of people just think cargo shorts are ugly. As for women's pockets, the history is pretty interesting and of course all about conforming to traditional class and gender roles: www.marketplace.org/topics/tech/why-womens-pockets-are-useless-historyAnyway, I pulled out my Game Gear for the first time in years just a few months ago. I imagine the thing must being a nightmare loaded with six batteries, but I've only ever powered it with an AC adapter and the weight isn't too bad like that. Still a bit large for my tastes, though. I think a SNES controller is probably about the ideal distance for having my hands apart on any kind of controller, so handhelds much wider than that feel awkward to me.

Lol, yes, good article. When there are pockets, they make me look fat, while no pockets/seamed up ones streamline my figure.

It's lame that we live in a society where ladies have to feel like they need to be on top of their figure all the time. Meanwhile I'm over here with a penis and I can rock out with as many unflattering pockets as I want and no one bats an eye. In fact, give me ALL the pockets. I've got shit to store, you don't even KNOW how much shit I've got to store.

I like to think it varies from person to person. I'll eat as many hot pockets as the next guy, but I still kill myself exercising every night so I don't feel disappointment when I see a mirror. There's not really a way to say that without sounding pitiful, but that's the way it is. (With me anyway.) What was the topic again?

The power of this forum to derail any and every thread is just admirable ;D The size of a handheld was never a problem for me. I have my trusty backpack with me almost everywhere where I go. Anyway, another handheld which design I really like is the GBC. The original purple casing already looks nice and the other variations look even cooler. I'd love to have a teal or yellow one

I like the tv-out adaptor that the PSP has; I think the Sega Nomad did it first.
The game boy advance had a good ergo design, imo better than the game boy classic which was too thick and not wide enough, and the DS loses points for the touch screen that I couldn't get comfortable with even after more than a few hours.

IT sounds like I'm in the minority liking the N3DS. I think it's crazy comfortable and looks good. I was very happy with my purchase of it.

I've been enjoying it, too. It's been a lot easier using the Home Run Bat in Smash since I switched.

I'd love to have a teal or yellow one Posting that picture is making me wanting to complete my set even though I don't even use the ones I already have anymore, haha. But yeah, Teal is pretty nice looking. That's the first one I ever had. Later on I also ended up with a Kiwi and Grape. Speaking of which, the names of the GBC colors never cease to crack me up. It's like they wanted to run with a fruit theme (Grape, Kiwi, Berry), but then instead of going with banana or some other yellow fruit they switch over to flowers with Dandelion, and then there's just... Teal. I'll give Atomic Purple a pass since they were just aiming for unification with the Atomic Purple N64 controllers.

I didn't really like any of the original GBC colors, honestly. I could give Teal and Dandelion a pass for at least being relatively neutral colors, but the one I own is a Berry, and it's just about the most horrifying shade of hot pink I could possibly own.

It's really a shame nothing exists for the New 3DSXL! Back to he topic, I agree with several posters here and find the neo-geo pocket color perfectly ergonomic - and it does look fntastic, and yes, the micro-switches joystick was incredible! True excellence! ...On the other hand, we have the Wonder Swan, which I find ugly, and uncomfortable for extended play. I don't like it at all. What a strange design. I think it gives you really weak ergonomy.

I think it looks neat and I think it's really cool you can rotate it for tate mode.
