I believe the WonderSwan Color is shaped slightly differently from the black & white WonderSwan. Looks like it at least. I only have the original model myself, and I'm cool with how it feels. But I've never played anything on it for an extended length of time either. That's my problem with it, not the form factor, but that there isn't a lot on it of interest to me (that doesn't require a Color model). Too many disposable anime-licensed games on the system. At least in terms of what I typically see available for sale.

It does have a pretty limited library but there's some interesting stuff if you look hard enough. It's just an interesting piece of video game history more than anything. Though I believe it does have some really high quality and somewhat unique FF ports.

They are really part of video game History, both for what they were, and for inspiring the design of the DS/3DS years later. They really, really have an awesome design, and the ergonomy was alright. Nintendo Game & Watch for the win! The most famous one of the dual-screens G&W was Donkey Kong, because it was the first, and Donkey kong was the "it" game at the time. Me, I preferred DK Junior, both in Dual-screen and single screen versions. Anyway, good job nintendo. It never was more portable than these!

Yeah, I've just been too lazy/cheap to bother picking up a Color/Crystal, haha. I got my b&w WonderSwan as a gift. It's too bad, though not surprising at all, that some of the more interesting and English-friendly b&w titles are on the pricey side. Like I'd be all for picking up Makaimura and Rockman & Forte, but meh at those prices.

Mmmm. Well. I love my PSP ^^
Bonus sympathies for NGPC (i think it has pretty cool aesthetics in form design) and WonderSwan

Yeah, I've just been too lazy/cheap to bother picking up a Color/Crystal, haha. Same. I've been eyeing the Crystal for a while, but I've been balking at the price for one. I've got to admit, it's amusing that there is something of a demand for these, considering how lowly they are thought of.

Gotta buy PC Engine games, get an SNES Mini to mod for optimal RGB output, get a Dreamcast and VGA box, etc. Wonderswan Crystal is on the list for sure though.

I'll be getting a BBS Hanzo probably. It's a bummer though that the Dreamcast is this weird inbetween. It doesn't fit ideally into my RGB setup and it doesn't fit ideally into my flatscreen modern setup. But flatscreen with VGA box is my best bet.

I love the PSP and Vita. They are just so sexy to look at.

I love the PSP and Vita. They are just so sexy to look at. Same. And they have great ergonomy. hen you looke at one, what you see is the huge screen... The Vita is glossy all over, the PSP has more buttons and whatnot; but I love both. The nub on the PSP works surprisingly well, too. The only missing thing is a white PSP (I love them!)

I can't stand the control stick thingy on the PSP personally. They should've swapped the D-pad and the stick's places at least.

I dunno, maybe I played so much that I got used to it, but for me, it is a good ergonomic design. It's the c-stick on New 3DS that I have problems with. And yes, I use it: for MonHun 4, Xenoblade Chronicles, Samurai chronicles 3, resident evil revelations... There are several big games that use the c-stick, which is unresponsive, badly placed, and inexact to use, The PSP nub, no problem. Am I in the minority?

I wish there was a way to combine the OLED screen of the original Vita with the slim Vita. Well, I've never actually held a slim Vita so maybe I'd have other issues with it, but the original Vita is a good bit heavier than I'd like. That's the problem with handhelds, the original models often seem like they're made with the highest quality parts, but they're bulkier, heavier, and usually have some other flaws corrected in later models. No matter what, you're sacrificing something going with one model over another.

I'll take the heavier model any day if it means an OLED screen. The LCD screen on the slim is just pitiful!
