I've played all the Zelda CDi games and the first two while they aren't amazing they are quite a bit of fun. So pretty much on par with the rest of the series? So you're dissing Zelda games and I don't know why...

You know what, I do know why people hate on David Cage's games. I just don't quite agree with it. It would help if the guy could just shut his big mouth, of course, but taking the games on their own, I do usually enjoy them. Sure the writing is not really that good, but he's not much worse at it than, say, Kojima. So pretty much on par with the rest of the series? So you're dissing Zelda games and I don't know why... I see what you did there, but "quite a bit of fun" is hardly a diss, is it ;P Also, don't worry, Link's Awakening is the exception, being miles ahead of the rest of the franchise.

Zelda 2 does seem to be a bit of a mixed bag. I liked Zelda better as a kid, and still like it better today, but Zelda 2 was not bad at all.

From the day it came out to today, I like Duke Nukem Forever quite a bit. It was my #1 most anticipated games from like 1998 to 2011, and although it wasn't as great as I expected it to be (the 2001 trailer still looks like the best game) it feels like I was in an extreme majority of people that could refrain from channeling dissappointment into blind-hot rage, saying stupid and incorrect things like "it looks like a N64 game" or deriding it on grounds of sexism and immaturity(it's Duke Nukem, that's what I looked for). Still to this day I play the game, and always come out thinking "yeah, that was good". Kind of like the Star Wars prequels. But it's internet law to hate it unfortunately

I think that's part of the problem though. It got killed by its own hype train.
