Quickie typo checkover, just capitalization mainly:
First word should be capitalized: "Despite having absolutely no on-screen violence while full Motion Video"
Proper name needs capitalized: "So Night Trap finally saw release, five years after filming wrapped, in 1992 on the Sega CD. Zito and Digital Pictures would go on to fail at making Fulop's dream"
First word should be capitalized: "Failure to do so will result in a Game Over."
Use of an, instead of a: "while his lady wife is trapped before him in the bedroom in a trap he was saving as a surprise for her."
Lacking capitalization: "For a perfect game and perfect ending"
Misspelled word: "Megan escapes out the back door or is dragged down a trapdoor hopefully to her slow and agonizing death."
Lacking capitalization: "The other trouble was he never bothered to actually play Night Trap."

You guys should really appoint a proofreader.
Also zzz can you unclench your rage fist[/b] for a few minutes and calm the hell down before you leap on the article? It's obvious from your triple-edited post that you didn't even read the whole thing before you jumped on the board to protect us all from these outrageous opinions of some guy on the internet.

Just made a quick glance at this article. Two things: first of all, it really needs to be proofread for grammar... My eyes alighted on this run-on sentence almost immediately upon opening the article:
That needs to be at least two sentences.
Also, in the 'comparison screenshots' section, why are there 3D0 and Sega CD screenshots but no PC one?

I think the PC version is the same as the 3D0 one. The Sega CD rerelease also uses the revised interface, but the same video size(I think). It had the really dumb spoiler packaging as well(re: look, they're actually vampires!).

All of the other screenshots are from the PC version anyway, so you really just have to scroll up.

I've also heard the rumor that Nintendo were responsible for giving Congress the clips of Night Trap, though I don't know if it was ever confirmed.

I'd read that before too, and heard it again in this article about Digital Pictures. We'll never know for sure, but that sounds like something they'd have done.

Though -why does them being vampires make so much damn sense?-

It was a bit messy - the version I put up was already after a first combover. Misspelled word: "Megan escapes out the back door or is dragged down a trapdoor hopefully to her slow and agoni zing death." The author is actually British, and since there's some amusing British slang in there, I left that at is. I'm pretty sure Howard Lincoln at least spoke at the hearing, and I believe he did supply some of the footage as well. Nintendo was real bastards about the whole issue - real hypocritical, when it came to Mortal Kombat 2, of course. Also, no PC comparison shot because the author hasn't sent me one! The only real difference is the interface - otherwise it's more or less the same.

When did Mr. Lincoln leave NOA anyway?

I actually transcribed what I could locate on the Senate Hearings in 1993 if anyone is interested in a copy.
Note: It's not the complete hearing's transcript but I couldn't locate the whole one yet.

I watched some of the hearings as they were televised live. They were as awful and shortsighted as you can imagine. My hatred for Nintendo didn't go away until the Gamecube era, and I still bought one reluctantly. They eventually cleaned up their act, but back then, they were dirty. As for the family = vampires, would you believe I never saw it coming? It terrified me when I found out. Of course, I was like 13.

Oh, my bad on that; I did notice the spelling of the word 'colour' and left that out of my post on the same grounds. You guys should really appoint a proofreader. Just made a quick glance at this article. Two things: first of all, it really needs to be proofread for grammar... My eyes alighted on this run-on sentence almost immediately upon opening the article: For a while, I was posting grammar fixes for a few of the articles (not just minor typos like spelling or capitalization; I was trying to help word flow, repeated words, etc., as well) and Disco was quite cool with it. Somebody else made a big deal about it, saying it was basically along the lines of taking the author's original voice away from the article trying to fix things like that. Plus it was stated by said person that this was all trivial and very, very unnecessary.

I think most authors would gladly welcome stuff like that. I know I would.
