What was the game cited near 29:50 in the Undertale podcast? Nice you did talk about the game not spoiling so much in the start.

Its funny that already that time Capcom was rushing a port or a game when it needed more time testing (huh Street Fighter X Tekken?).
But yeah, the final fight port was badly seen just because it was cut one character and the two player mode, when rival turf and streets of rage had a 2 player mode. Sega CD dont had the cody infinite but had new modes, kickass music, all stages, all characters and two players mode...there is no reason to play the snes version anymore other than nostalgia, when even in nintendo systems the gba port is better at everything to the snes version.
Wish final fight 3 had more love than the ff1 port...even has a 2player cpu controlled mode for those who dont have friends haha.

Dreamcast has a perfect port with no cut frames from the characters, where kof98 has some (not so horrible like the kof 97 port but...), change how the characters are played (with is important to people who played the original arcade version).
Its the MSX/MSX2 all over again lol.
At the time of the article I think they werent released to the VC yet. Dont know about games in compilations can be listed...
Silver is a japanese character.

It was another Daisuke Ishitawari, at that time he was already in "Team Neo Blood"
It changes to the "TLB2" engine if I remember...
Musashi is playable in the dreamcast version...I think, but just in VS mode.
Kinda hard to explain but with the "normal" characters and using well the "repel" button, you have to think very well any offensive step so not to be so obvious and your opponent simply "repel" it and combo with speed style ou chain the DMs with power style.
The flow of the game is great too, its not like one sided, you can turn the tables.Rarely you win with a perfect or STUN the other character.
But the game has flaws, like Mukuro having a normal throw who does more damage than the command throw from the "grappler character" from the game, has some abuse with some special attacks (Zantetsu and Moriya), and some character can be cheap as hell (like Lee Rekka) with little to respond to their attacks. But its a fun game with a low or mid level game, high level can be very boring...
