I personally prefer that they've covered up the exposed chest.
Not every Japanese game hero has to look like they stepped out of a Visual Kei promotional photoshoot.

I like the original design better. The braided ponytail looks cool! Of course, given how many imbecilic comments I've heard about how the changes make the western design "less gay" (ugh) I can understand why they did it, but it's still fucking stupid. Any wagers about how long it will be before we're back to this shit again:  Seems like the same old story. US gamers just can't handle a ponytail on a dude apparently. Or at least some drone in marketing thinks we can't. Who is publishing this in the US anyway? |

And I'm with everyone on the midriff. Does anyone think exposed midriffs are super cool? So yeah. Not really a problem for me.

Or maybe they just want to differentiate the dude from Inti Creates other ponytail wearing property Mega Man Zero? In that case they wouldn't give him a ponytail in the first place. Not to mention that the resemblance would be a bonus for them to attract Mega Man Zero fans. "Oh, look. He looks like Zero. So cool!" |

How so? Mighty No 9 won't run on my Laptop, and I got a couple of DS games lying around but no DS (used to play 'em of my ex's). This one being an exclusive is just further incentive to get a 2/3DS for me.

The 3DS has a pretty good library by now. It would be pretty sad to get one and only limit yourself to a couple games.

The comments (not from IntiCreates but from the users) make my brain hurt. I wish all those people would instantly turn 60 so that their sex drive was shriveled up and gone and their minds wouldn't instantly jump to sexual politics on everything. |

Seems there are still japanese developers who have a wrong image about the western market (and not only). Then again we speak for the same country with companies like Nintendo who are surprised that gamers still remember F-Zero.
