I really, really don't like Mega Man III. I honestly think it's one of my least favorite games I've ever played. There isn't really anything that jumps out about it, as being so much worse than other Mega Man games... it just kind of rubs me the wrong way. Even when I was a kid, I never really enjoyed it much, and when I played through the whole game from start to finish a few years ago, I still didn't care for it. I guess it doesn't help that it feels too long for its own good, but I disliked it long before getting to its extended fortress stages.

If we're talking "bad games" we've played and enjoyed, I can legitimately say I played and GREATLY enjoyed Bubsy on the SNES when I was a kid. I thought the level designs were really good, and didn't mind the one-hit kills -- it just meant I had to memorize the stages better. Don't think I'd enjoy it much at all nowadays, though. ...Also, I enjoyed ET on Atari 2600 as a kid, too. Wasn't my favorite game by any means, but I found it enjoyable enough. It's absolutely a very deeply flawed game, but those who claim it's the worst game ever made -- when there exist games like Superman 64 out there -- clearly just haven't ever played a truly bad game. Hell, I don't even think ET is the worst game on the 2600! That system had some baaaaaaaad games on it. -Tom

I like the original Mario Bros (not the super one), BUT ONLY if it's the enhanced remake that comes with every edition of the Super Mario Advance series. The physics are much better - plays like a dream compared to the NES one. I never could beat the bonus stages as a kid...

And I can speak from experience that the river jump is beatable. I probably would've enjoyed that as a kid too. The sprite animation is surprisingly detailed for Snoopy, although Spike looks terrible.

Any detail that game has is because it's literally 10 minutes long. There's almost nothing to it.

I like Mega Man III better than Mega Man II. There, I said it. I like Dragon Age II more than Origins. There, chocke on that one ;P Dragon Age II isnt a bad game. I think it gets a lot of undue shit just for not being the same thing as DA:O. My only main complaints are that the levels repeat about a billion times and they changed the Qunari out of nowhere. Oh, and there aren't any romance options that actually interest me.

The 3D remake of castlevania rondo of blood is better than the original. It looks awful compared to the original sure biut i like the updated levels, bosses and the new stage 5 is far better than the one in the original which felt a bit throw away and didn't even have a boss.

It looks awful compared to the original sure biut i like the updated levels, bosses and the new stage 5 is far better than the one in the original which felt a bit throw away and didn't even have a boss. It has one fatal flaw for me, and that's Richter's backflip. In the original, you had to be standing still to pull off a backflip, whereas in the remake, you can backflip even when moving. This doesn't sound that bad, except I'm one of those people who "button mashes" when I get really into a game -- if there's a tricky jump, or I'm about to get hit, I'll mash the jump button over and over again to make sure it took... and in the remake version of Rondo, this inevitably results in me backflipping to my doom. Even playing as Maria, though, I think I like the original better than the remake, if only because the controls feel more precise to me. They have an ever-so-slightly floaty quality to them in the remake, IMHO. -Tom

Oh, and there aren't any romance options that actually interest me. I can live with sexier Qunari, dunno why the Elves now have to look like aliens though. Have to agree that the party members were more interesting in Origins, but everything else in that game bored me to tears, moreso than the copypasta design of II.

Honestly I can't think of very many, if any...There may be some new styles of games that surpass older styles of games but for the most part it would be easier to make a list of newer games that have been much worse than their predecessors because that list goes on forever with all of the older series having been brought back once the seventh generation became so homogenized that the only ideas they had left was to bring back series that had been dead for at least a decade.
