Is BlueMSX even still updated anymore?
Seems like the only one getting all the updates is OpenMSX. It has a very handy fast forward/fast rewind feature.

BlueMSX also has that. Whats the best amiga emulator for some one thats never used one? Wanted to give some of the games on there a shot but have no idea were to start? WinUAE is pretty good but you have to set it up so you'll want to look at a guide. |

FS-UAE is generally recommended as the more accessible variant. I tried it once briefly, but didn't like it, maybe I got to too used to WinUAE.

Last I heard 4DO is still the best 3DO emulator, but I haven't looked in a while. I don't know of any working CDi emulators.

Phoenix Project is a nice alternative for 3DO. For CDI, there's only CDIemu which I think is still payware, and MAME.

Is there a way to change where Phoenix Project is looking for rom folders? I do not like idea of copying all my stuff into different folders so one application will work. I am also looking for "Mah Boi" additional small aplication for cdiemu.

Last I heard 4DO is still the best 3DO emulator, but I haven't looked in a while. I don't know of any working CDi emulators. MAME emulates CDi games, mostly - there are glitches (when you load a disc image, you will need to reset the emulated machine), and there is currently no way to select what controller you're using (so it will assume you are always using a trackball), but I was able to make Tetris work on the cdimono rom set. |
