AFAIK it's not. It was done from scratch apparently.

Looking at the YT-channel there also seems to be a Fantasy Zone in the works. Do you know if any of these will be released to the public?

I don't know but that would be up to the man itself who ported them if he's going to release it for everybody or not. I do hope he does though...

I felt like trying a VB Wario Land recolor after playing through it. VB to SMS - 4 to 24 colors Edit: 4 to 25 colors 4 to 25 colors - I drew the mask-guy into the scene based on a youtube still to see how it would look. Enemy and hat colors are based on the manual.

After looking at these and other games on their hardware, I think the Irem arcade originals might be candidates for substantial gamma adjustment much like Sega's System 16 games for instance.

Yeah games like Shinobi and ESWAT are a bit unbalanced in terms of that. So are some Konami games from that time. The Simpsons - ARC to MD to SMS to NES - 85 to 55 to 31 to 13 colors The SMS and NES kinda lack the proper mid yellow hence the dithering, and I think the latter would need to use multiple sprites to increase colors per character here. Besides probably having to have smaller sprites. SMS might pull most of them off but run a bit choppy like Golden Axe. --- Seiken Densetsu 3 - SNES to SMS & SNES to MD 155 to 30/54 colors

Most of these still look good imho, Street Fighter Alpha is a bit much degraded. That imgur link doesn't work for me.

Thanks, yeah I wasn't sure it would but they redesigned the site a bit recently so thought I'd try it again. imgur is annoying in that you have to publish each album and then it's open to comments that I get notified on, and it's mostly people randomly browsing who don't understand the context seeing them and giving obnoxious responses. I'll add the notes here then.
Alpha 2 (SNES to SMS) is 116 to 31 colors. It uses a lot of darker shades not in the SMS palette and mid shades that you have to use dithering to do so it's a bit rough, but would look a bit better on a CRT with blended shades.
