Why do people want to Hack it just Buy a Raspberry Pi or a Android Box instead that will do the same emulation and more systems it be cheaper to.
Also I doubt any M rated games will be on this none ever have on these classic consoles.

Cause a lot of people can’t be bothered learning how to set up a Raspberry Pi & getting the exact plug in set up for each individual game?

Great background music, and easy to use save states. I would imagine that Playstation classic will have limited memory space; which wouldn't allow for a whole library to fit the way it's possible with NES classic. Though I've been wanting to build a Raspberry Pi too. Mostly for Sega CD and PC-Engine CD/Turbo Duo games. Looking forward to the complete games list for Playstation. I'm guessing we'll get a different set of games than the Japan market. Like more Crash Bandicoot, Siphon Filter, and Tomb Raider stuff, less Bushido Blade or Soukaigi. I'm thinking Gran Turismo, Resident Evil/Bio Hazard, and Parappa the Rapper will make it on the roster, considering the milestones they represent.

Yet you do not have to go though all this on android just go on a browser and install happy chick which has all emulators built in and a way to download games though its own servers which are unlikey to get shut down since there hosted in china and you can fully play any downloaded games offline anyway and should work with any roms you have if put in correct places.Use a mouse to navigate menus and get a USB or Wireless Controller to play them which the App should auto work with. That is alot more simple than a Pi is.

Did the Playstation have any finished, but cancelled games? Not totally confident, but Thrill Kill might be the one.

Thrill Kill got cancelled because it got an AO which would still be an issue. It's not lost and it's not good. No one is missing anything.

To be fair it's fairly tame by modern standards so it might be able to dodge an AO now. You're right that it's not good, though, and it was functionally released in the form of that Wu-tang Clan game anyway.

Was it not more to do with EA buying the games publisher, then seeing the game and how horrible it was and choosing not to publish crap?

I know that's satire, but the obvious answer is that a lot of people prefer playing games on a TV rather than a tiny PSP screen. (I did try plugging the PSP to my TV back in the day, btw. It was trash, and only took up like 50-60% of your screen).

Also I doubt any M rated games will be on this none ever have on these classic consoles. I doubt it either. Unless Sony is just going to make an age lock for parents. Metal Gear Solid and Resident Evil is just too iconic to PSX not to include it but I understand the need to sell this to families.

It was trash, and only took up like 50-60% of your screen). PSTV thankfully doesn't have that issue. You're still better off just getting the cables to hook an SD card up to your PS2, though. Also, someone else asked earlier if PS1 games look better on PS2. The short answer is "yes" with a "but..." The texture smoothing option was good back in the old days, but it can end up looking smudged and smeary on a modern display. Colors can also appear a little off. The below video does a good job of explaining the various options available for PS1 games on HDTVs these days: Of particular note, Silent Hill and Chrono Cross make use of the PS1's 480i mode for their menus. This causes a delay when switching back and forth between regular gameplay while using an upscaler. For the average person, a PS3 (any variety will do, doesn't have to be the fat version) will suit their needs just fine.
