Also, what's wrong with Revelation's Persona? Removed out the lengthy Snow Queen sub-arc. Many character art was adjusted, Masao is now an African-American. Characters and Persona were renamed, most Japanese references and locations are removed or changed.

Oh jeez, that does sound bad.

It's also a very bad game that's no fun to play underneath all the localization changes.

I haven't played most of these games anyways, so it would be a bunch of unique games for me to try regardless. I'm hoping they have the non-Dualshock edition of the Resident Evil Director's Cut; they may do that, since the Classic doesn't even have a Dualshock controller, lol, but I'm not sure. I want the original OST. Beyond that, I'm sad this doesn't have any Mega Man games (it would have been awesome to see Mega Man Legends on here!), and while I'm not the biggest Metroidvania fan, the fact there's no Symphony of the Night definitely stands out as an odd omission.

I never actually owned a PS1 at the time, but I used to buy several gaming magazines so I have enough understanding to say... What were they thinking? half of those lists is truly baffling, I mean, who cares about Cool Boarders, Intelligent Qube and Devil Dice anymore? I know that Sony never had a real flag franchise, but most of these titles just seem to be picked at random.

I've known people who like Cool Boarders, and Intelligent Qube I've heard is a pretty interesting niche game. I have no idea what Devil Dice is though.

Devil Dice and Intelligent Qube are actually pretty cool games and nice additions.

Devil Dice and Intelligent Qube are actually pretty cool games and nice additions. Still, they're not the first thing that comes to your mind when thinking of "PlayStation". I wonder if they have an internal poll or something to decide what games to put on those mini consoles.

When I think of Playstation, I think of Rainbow Six.

BAT, FFVII, MGS, Mr Driller, Super Puzzle Fighter II, Destruction Derby, GTA, Abe's Oddysee, Rayman, R6 (a full half!) all have ports on other platforms. Persona has a Japanese PC version and the vanilla version of RE has several ports. Persona also had the PSP version, didn't it? And I understand it was much improved. The latest version of Super Puzzle Fighter II is also substantially rebalanced to be far less clumsy, I understand. (I wish it would get a Steam release.)

I was really hoping for Legend of Dragoon, as it's a game I've wanted to get access to for ages, but SOny Australia never puts in on PSN (Despite it being on the American one for ages). It not being there is a deal breaker for me (Well that and the overall shoddiness of the line up. There are some good games on there...just not enough)

I know that Sony never had a real flag franchise, but most of these titles just seem to be picked at random. Cool Boarders was huge at the time. I'm sure there's some nostalgia for it out there, even though it's not the type of game gamers tend to talk about. It is a pretty weak selection overall, though. Lots of weaker titles, tons of classics missing, not nearly enough RPGs in the International version when it was the generation where the genre really broke through in the West. I wouldn't buy it.

Cool Boarders was huge at the time. Wasn't Tony Hawk's Pro Skater tho? They must have hired a freelancer to pick a list for them.

Considering what happened to the Tony Hawk franchise with Tony Hawk HD, I'd say we dodged a bullet there, as much as I'd like a Tony Hawk.

I have a sneaking suspicion some titles only made the list because they sold enough to be added to the Greatest Hits lineup.
