I'd jump on a JSR retail HD port to 360. Pack in JSRF and I'd be over the moon. Don't have to do anything to them, other than bump the res and alias the polys, for me.
I know JSRF is backcompat, but it's hardly ideal. Doesn't even run in HD.

Crazy Taxi and Sonic Adventure...AGAIN? Geez, Sega has a huge library of great games (I'm talking about both classic hits and forgotten gems), why do they have to release the same games again and again? They could at least make a decent compilation with games from the Sega Ages series which almost all of them were released only in Japan like Dynamite Deka, Last Bronx, Panzer Dragoon, Nights into Dreams etc.

Fighters Megamix? Virtua Photo Studio? Just kidding about that last one)

And yet you were serious about Sonic R... I like it. Although I think it's mostly because of the music

They wouldn't, because outside of this forum, who knows Dynamite Deka? Seriously? They'd be better off rereleasing things that people in the (at least semi-) mainstream remember. Those might actually make money. Problem was, the DC (and Saturn) didn't have many of them. Irrespective of the quality of the games, a compilation like this primarily succeeds on nostalgia. SC5p2 is the oddity, here.
Honestly, SEGA have been a niche developer, outside of Sonic, for too long. As a publisher, they've had a few gems, but yeah.
I would definitely kill for a re-released Guardian Heroes on a system I have, though. A pipe dream, though.

Guardian Heroes on XBL would make my goddamn day. Hell, a true sequel to Shining Force III would make my day. Sega seems to be allergic to good ideas anymore.

They'd be better off rereleasing things that people in the (at least semi-) mainstream remember. Yeah, like they did with this light-gun shooters compilation for Wii : www.nintendo.com/games/detail/LVOolGZh7FnQEca_-bydjDR0liDy0OB5Οr with the Jumbo Safari francise: www.sega.com/games/jambo-safari/From the above games I only remember Jumbo Safari and just because I found it on the arcades of a ship back then in a high school trip where a friend of mine spent lots of coins on this game. Guardian Heroes on XBL would make my goddamn day. Same here. Since they have re-released Gunstar Heroes lots of times I wonder how they haven't made yet the same with Guardian Heroes, expecially since beat'em ups are selling like fresh-baked cakes on XBLA (see Castle Crushers and Scot Pilgrim Vs The World). Man, they even release a sequel for GBA (which I actually enjoyed a lot even if the main characters were boring).

As already pointed out, the collection's very uneven. Release a sequel without the game it's succeeding, especially? It's one thing to include the original games and not their sequels, but that's just egregious. This is a low-investment collection of Xbox Live Arcade ports. The first Space Channel 5 used FMV backgrounds so it is too large under Microsoft's current restrictions. SC5p2 is all rendered in real time.

Fans have so much love for Sega. Too bad they hate us in return.

Hey, I like this. Space Channel 5 Part 2 was one of those games I was looking forward to playing on the imaginary day I get a PS2 for some reason, and now I can just use my PC!
I might have been looking forward to getting Sonic Adventure on the cheap as well, but the reviews for its XBLA re-release suggest that it is not nearly as charming as it was ten years ago.

Now I'm wanting a Saturn collection on PC or PS3. That is awesome.
