The first print runs of Wind Waker in Europe only came with Ocarina and Master Quest.

Lee's idea is excellent
And the All-Stars comment was funny too

Heads up - this is out on Steam and GamersGate now.
In fact, it's 10% off on GamersGate, but no doubt Steam will be undercutting in good time.

The Game & Watch Gallery series is awesome. I love Game & Watch Gallery 2 in particular. Almost every game in that compilation is incredibly fun. I'd love for Nintendo to release their old arcade games again, whether on the Virtual Console or in a collection, but I don't think that's ever going to happen. It's really a shame. I want to play the arcade versions of Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr. and Popeye

The nice thing about the PC release is that you can buy all the games separately. Great for someone like me who already has SADX but would like to get Crazy Taxi.

Has anyone here seen authoritative reviews somewhere yet? I would hope they're not as tragically buggy as the initial Oddworld release. I'm also still curious as to whether they're substantially improved over their earlier ports (aside from SC5p2, which as far as I know had no earlier port).
In particular, does this version of SADX still include the Game Gear stuff?

I have heard no to that one. Which is a bit of a shame but probably not a deal-breaker.

It could be worse in some ways- you could be paying £30+ for a Super Mario All Stars rom... lulz, and then resell it on ebay for twice as much. The nerve of some people. I got the Zelda Collectors for the Cube by registering Double Dash and Mario Tennis with Nintendopower.com. They sent it in the mail. Then someone stole it from me. Not too upset about losing that one, though, as I spent no money on it. Still, by principle..I should be pissed

Still so disappointed that this is the best they could come up with... *sigh*

Let them do their best to sell a zillion copies of something, and then maybe they will put out something nifty.

You'd think Typing of the Dead would be a no-brainer: not only is it a recognizable title that people are still talking about after all these years, but the Japanese PC versions actually kept pace with technological developments, to some degree.
Anyway, funny thing: For Crazy Taxi, Steam says
Direct2Drive says: Does this mean Steam did something unusual to the game that drastically altered its system requirements, perhaps to make it Windows 7 compatible? Or are they just lying?
By the way, it's $2.25 on D2D at the moment, but not for much longer.
And there is also much grousing in the Steam forums.

Given that I could run SADX almost perfectly fine on an average PC like 6 years ago, it seems that Steam's probably highly exaggerating the specs, but I haven't gotten one of the games from there to test.

I'd say its a mistake. Or then its filled with brand new HD-content.
I find the Dreamcast collection very weird. Sonic Adventure and Crazy Taxi are no-brainers, but Bass Fishing and Second Space Channel game? Strikes bit odd, but then again, I cant remember how many Dreamcast games got ported to PC, apart from Typing of the Dead.
If they'd put the unreleased PC-port of Toy Commander there, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Maybe it's the ressources steam itself is eating? I know the few games I've tried through Steam ran painfully slow vs. their technical prowess. But then again there's recent games on Steam, too, so that can't be it...

Steam's system requirements for the original X-COM still claim it only needs a 386, as far as I can remember.
