So we're gonna get a clunkier Left 4 Dead? No thanks.

Oh wow, these character designs look really bad-ass. They look like generic gas-mask grunts you see in pretty much every other FPS to me.

Well...you never actually get to play as the gas-mask brigade, so that's a plus.
But yeah, not interested. It's just a co-op action game where you shoot zombies. Yawn.

They look like something from a Marilyn Manson video

They're designs remind me of something like a creepier Cleaner from the Survivor game.

I bet under the masks they are all bald marines. You never see any innovation in game art.

At least not in most western-developed games.

I'm just amazed they don't show their faces on the cover. Seriously, faces are overrated and a poor excuse not to design cool helmets.

I'm actually glad that they gave them all masks. That's one of the major mistakes that I think most games and movies make. You have a bunch of people part of a uniformed squad, but the main characters are "too special" to wear their masks or helmets. It always hurt my believability.
Granted, I understand why they do it most of the time. It's harder to make an emotional connection with a mask than an actual face. It still hurts the realism when they don't user their masks / helmets.

Personally I hope this implies you'll have some measure of character customisation if they're going the generic route.

It's just a stupid rule to me that the viewer must absolutely see the character's face at all times in order to emphasize or whatever crap. You know, like how Judge Dread takes off his helmet a little ways through the movie despite his face never being fully revealed in the comic. I'm actually amazed they got through the V for Vendetta movie without ever having V take off his mask.

This is unrelated but I had to say how much I love (LOVE) the V for Vendetta graphic novel. *pets it* I liked the movie too but I think they changed/added too much stuff.
