So, was the general opinion that this game is just plain pants? I've been eyeing it up lately and hoping the reviewers were wrong once again.

I ran into garamoth online last week, and he had just earned a Platinum on this game. He said it wasn't that good, comparing it to the negative aspects of RE: Outbreak. I think I'll still get it, but not anywhere near full price.

After, borrowing it and making quite a few playthroughs, I just wouldn't bother with it at full price. Heck, my neighbors already selling it for $40 and it's still not that appealing. Lack of couch co-op is really lame, enemies take way too much damage, and the AI can be RE5 levels of stupid at times. It's got it's perks but they're not really enough to overide the annoyances.
