I can't decide if I like it or if I hate it. I'm weirded out by the ability to kill Leon. I guess if word on the street treats it well, I'll be more interested. As of now though it seems like something that I could just pass up.

I do hope it ends up being halfway decent- lets face it, the spin offs of RE so far have been utter monkey balls.

As of now though it seems like something that I could just pass up. Honestly I'd much rather kill Steve. Slowly. I do like that at least this game has darkness and zombies. Hope it is actually somewhat scary, but judging by the dumbass commando guys, I'm sure it's just going to be yet another TPS, but this time with the RE brand slapped onto it. Prove me wrong, guys. Please. |

Similar to Ninja Gaiden, I was wondering if this has had any takers yet...it's getting ravaged by reviewers, but as was said before, that's often just a sign that the website didn't get paid off.

Or that there's nothing revolutionary (or, to use a word that makes me sick to my stomach, progressive) about it to appeal to self-important "games as art" snobs who write for review sites. |

One review I read said that it was a lousy game, but better than Outbreak. My fat aunt, Fanny. Outbreak was awesome.

My neighbor's mother is an avid L4D fanatic. She's rebought the game multiple time for her children just so that she can steal it away at night and play 'til the wee hours of the morning. And her oldest preordered this. So far she's found it pretty fun. She says it takes awhile to get used to and it's not going to tear anyone away from L4D or the sequel, but it's fun in it's own right and worth it just to get a break from the same L4D maps every once in a while.

It's weird to say but Resident Evil fans probably aren't the best people to ask about whether this ones any good. For my personal tastes, I agree. In some circles die-hard Resident Evil fans actually prefer Resident Evil 5 over Resident Evil 4  |

5 does have co op going for it, but 4 is just so much more enjoyable to go through. (Plus it actually has halfway spooky shit in it.)
It seems like the most ORC has going for it is being a relatively functional TPS with some RE characters and monsters, which... really, really isn't enough on its own to merit a purchase. Also, no splitscreen? It's multiplayer focused and has no splitscreen? Even RE5 got that right!
