Hilariously, they sometimes even go up in price. Look at Metroid Prime Trilogy. Like Donkey kong Country Returns. It's Retail in alot of Stores here is £43 but all other Nintendo Published games are £40 or less . I should get back to playing the Wii last game I started playing on it was Yugioh Master of the Cards (Aka yugioh Duel Transfer in America and Japan) got like half way though it then just stoped. Also bought Metroid other M new for £10 a while back as well. But at the moment Ive got to much stuff to Finish and Play on 360 so for the Time Begin its begin ignored along with my Ps2. My youngest brother refuses to play the Wii ever though says its total crap .

It gets heavy use and is the main competitor for my gaming time, though the DS takes over sometimes. I have a lot of older games off the Wii store I want to buy too.

Gathering dust, but I did break it out for Geometry Wars Galaxies when Bizarre Creations went under.
My ownership of Shikigami 3 and No More Heroes(not to mention Radio Allergy on the Ultimate Shooting Collection) assures it'll always be with me.

I haven't grabbed Shikigami 3. Is it's translation as humorous as 2's?

Gathering dust as far as I am concerned. My wife used to use it as a dedicated Wii Fit machine, but she graduated from pretending to work out to actually going to real Yoga classes and biking around.
Every once in a while I'll fire it up to play some emulators though. Hooked up to a CRT and running at the correct resolution, SNES games looks amazing on it.

I keep meaning to pick it up and play, but usually get sidetracked by 360, PS3 or handheld games. To be honest it's kind of a pain in the ass; half the time I turn the system on I realize that it's been sitting for so long that the batteries in the controller are dead and I just go play something else.

I should probably buy some spare rechargeable batteries or something, especially since I've been using those for my 360 controller (instead of the worthless Play and Charge batteries).

You don't like the Play and Charges for the 360? Granted, they only last me for about three or four days at a time, but I figure Microsoft doesn't expect people to be putting 10 - 12 hours of playtime on any given day, let alone all week.
At any rate, I really wish Nintendo would offer a solution along the same lines for the Wii. I feel almost like a caveman whenever I have to swap out AAs anymore.

I had two play & charge kits, neither lasted more than three or four days total. I can leave my other wireless controllers unused for long periods of times, the 360 ones I couldn't.
As for my Wii, I use it just as much as any of the other gaming consoles I have, meaning not often enough. No emulator or media center uses though, I have a HTPC.
I don't think it'll get any use in the near future though, as I plan to finish Duke Nukem 3D and Quake 2 on the 360 first.

With the news that Xenoblade is coming to Europe, I'm glad I still have my Wii. It's suddenly one of my most anticipated game of 2011! Never saw that coming.

It's really weird because I can get probably 12-15 hours off a pair of AAs (rechargeable even) on a 360, while the 20 dollar play and charge lasts me maybe 2 or 3 hours at most. Maybe I've just gotten defective or old ones, I don't know. That's definitely one thing the Dualshock has over the 360, it's battery life. I'm also wondering why Nintendo hasn't tried to come up with a first-party solution. It's not like they stand to lose anything...

I got mine solely for Metroid and later picked up Smash Bros. and was severely disappointed by both. Wasn't wowed by Fire Emblem either and there was little to no worthy software coming out for the thing so I sold it to a buddy in church who wanted it for his daughter for about half off. That was still during the time when you could never find the things in stores. My friends gave me his Gamecube for free so I just stick with that.
Of course there have been some titles I would love to own and play, namely Punch Out and Donkey Kong Returns, but I'm content without.

How's my Wii doing? Well, it's making a rather discomfittingly loud whine when I play disc based games.
