Naw, that's Konami. Seriously, they're just waiting to get bought out at this point it seems.

That was far and away the worst E3 presentationI have ever seen. The lack of exclusives and focus on Kinect was just horrible. Welcome to the future of gaming 249 dollars is an excellent price but I'm really disappointed with Sony yet again setting a ridiculous european price in comparison. I'll be picking up a US model for sure. 1 euro is 0.68 dollars not 1 dollar! And this again? Good ol' Europe- still taking it up the ass from Japan. As for Ninja Gaiden going down the QTE route- man, I never thought I would miss Itagaki :\ I like the way Nintendo is pretty much abandoning the Wii now- "2 games from us this year and that's all your getting!" That Wii U controller? Well, I can't imagine holding something book sized to play a game will be fun...but please Nintendo...don't be such a soul crushing dissapointment this time...again ¬_¬

I don't think it's a coincidence that Konami stopped being cool after they changed their logo.

I don't think it's a coincidence that Konami stopped being cool after they changed their logo. But they weren't this bad! That was the start of a very long, epic-worthy fall from grace.

The Playstation Vita demo showed that one Action RPG using both the Vita and the PS3 to play the same game, so it's not like Sony is far behind this crazy thing. Add-on vs. the pack-in controller. If there's one thing history has shown, it's that if you really want these sorts of things to be successful, it has to be in the box on day one. Nintendo tried similar things with GBA/Gamecube connectivity. They had some limited success, but you really have to take the big gamble and incorporate it into the system if you want it to take off. I doubt Sony's going to start including $250 PSVs as the standard controller for PS4. But then again, they've done stupider things in the past. He is talking about cross platform play between the Vita and Playstation 3 by enabling social interaction and competitive team play across two different platforms anywhere, anytime, with anyone via online. On the other hand, WiiU streams game interface/inventory/maps/mini-games to the controller. Controller needs to be in the same room as the console so no playing around the house and support only one controller per machine with multiple wiimotes. I can think of some cool potential with WiiU but is there anyone who can look down at your controller while playing a game ? I'd rather just press the inventory/menu button and see it on my TV instead of having to look down on the controller. I honestly think WiiU is a stupid idea and inferior just like Wii and 3DS.

Nintendo wins another E3.
I'm wondering how the Wii U tablet controller will play out...from what I've heard, viewing angles are good, though the resistive digitizer on top is awfully prone to glare based on GameSpot footage. (There's no way it's capacitive with a plastic toothpick stylus like that.) It's also interesting that it doesn't need to use the main TV to play games; this could mean that I can actually use it while the rest of the family watches TV or a movie or something. On the other hand, at that point, it might as well just be a giant handheld.
Some of the multiplayer games shown harken back to the GBA+GCN days, especially "Catch Mii" and the way they compared it to Pac-Man. Well, guess what? There actually IS a Pac-Man game where one GBA user linked to a GCN is Pac-Man, with a full view of the maze, and the other three players have GCN pads and play three of the ghosts, with a limited view of their local surroundings on the TV.
For that matter, only Nintendo is thinking about same-room multiplayer these days...in most other games, even on consoles, you'd be lucky to get split-screen, or sometimes even LAN. It's always assumed that you're playing online for multiplayer.
Oh, and I just KNEW they were going to announce Super Smash Bros. for the 3DS, especially given that it now has an analog pad. That ought to go well with the 3DS' little social features like StreetPass.

Naw, that's Konami. Seriously, they're just waiting to get bought out at this point it seems. Konami is long past anything any other company that has fallen from grace has ever done. By this time I'd probably rather have Cryo or Titus being resurrected than waiting for any new Konami games.

I'm really excited about Wii U; I'm glad it'll have good third-party support out of the gate, and those demos Nintendo has like Chase Mii and Battle Mii look really fun. I'm disappointed at how much they're neglecting the Wii though. They'll pretty much have nothing all year, and there's still no motherfucking confirmation of Xenoblade or The Last Story or any of their other million Japan-only games. I'm going to import them from Europe anyways if they don't come over, but I'm just so annoyed that Nintendo is totally incapable of releasing games worldwide in a timely manner. It's a bunch of fuck
EDIT: I'm not as upset with Konami as a lot of you seem to be. Maybe it's because I was never into the Castlevania series, but I've been pretty satisfied with most of their stuff that I've played.

Don't be ridiculous. Capcom and Konami may had seen better days in the past, but they're not as bad right now as Titus used to be.
