I don't see why Darkstalkers couldn't work with the same pseudo-cel-shaded look MVC3 uses. All of the Darkstalkers characters look quite good in that game.

Ét means "Capcom likes to troll us."?

Say, what low-budget film is that?
Also, a bit of a stretch here, but do you think the mood of the music in a Mega Man game represents how Capcom is currently feeling?
Many people criticized the music in 10 and 4, because it sounded too sad, like Capcom was going through the motions or something. Also in 6, the music had a very sad atmosphere, because it was like they knew 6 was going to be the last NES game in the series.

I've never heard that before about Mega Man's music. I've never played 10 or 4 though, so I can't speak for those games.

Megaman 4 has a pretty awesome soundtrack. For many years I was in the "Megaman 1-3 have the best OST" camp, but then after listening to the MM4 soundtrack more closely I ended up loving it too. I like a few tracks from MM5 and none from MM6.
MM7 has a few good tracks too such as Shademan, Cloud Man and Freezeman.

The sad sound was kinda why I liked 4's soundtrack though. 6 mostly had simple "going through the motions" songs, but a few were pretty awesome.

I don't care what anyone says, some of my favorite tunes in the series are from 3,4,6,9 and 10.
Pharaoh man Flame and Tomahawk man. Wily levels in 9 and 10. Nuff said.

MM 4 was my first Mega Man game, so I simply love everything about it including the music. Kinda sad to see it getting flamed so often.

Mega Man 4 is the one I've played the most. It was just really easy, so I'd rent it for three day weekends and just play it over and over and over.

X was my first ever, but 6 was my first classic, so it holds a place.

2 was my first, followed by X and 6, then 3. Those were the ones I had before I started to seriously collect a bunch of Mega Man games in general online.
