www.escapistmagazine.com/gallery/view/26/107149/99.1Not sure if this has been posted before, but this article is interesting as it features early sketches for some of Kojima's earlier games, such as Metal Gear 1 & 2 and Snatcher. I'm not sure what the yellow-road map (picture 7) is supposed to represent, and also the Snatcher books (picture 9) shows that there were plans for a Snatcher 2.

In that case, I take back my previous kudos. vnisanian2001 is clearly a homo for even considering to post information that was OLD NEWS to someone on planet earth.

Nobody was criticizing anyone here, so I don't understand the point of your reply (it's not even that funny).

The title screen font was that important to him, huh?

Jeez, I just wasn't sure if this had been posted before or not. I don't have time to look through all the threads.
I also remember seeing early versions of Snatcher in a PC88 radio soundtrack. In it, Randam was supposed to live, much like how he lived in SD Snatcher.
I much prefer having Doctor Elijah Madnar being under orders from the Snatchers, led by a Master Snatcher, rather than being a cliched mad scientist obsessed over a woman. I also prefer the secret location of the Snatcher's hideout being a mirror maze in a seemingly innocent amusement park, rather than an old abandoned church.

I really wish they'd make HD ports of Snatcher and Policenauts, as I never got to play either game.

Or you could always just download the ISOs like everyone else has at this point.

Or you could always just download the ISOs like everyone else has at this point. There are two good reasons why a person would not do that: 1. They're on a very slow internet connection. There are some portions of the earth - even in the United States - that lack a good, affordable, widespread broadband internet service. And let me tell you, downloading even a 10 MB game - let alone a 650 MB one - is absolutely murder on lesser connections. 2. They absolutely insist on playing the game legitimately instead of acquiring it from less savory portions of the internet. While I don't subscribe to such a viewpoint myself, I do understand the possible reasons behind it and I do not think less of a person for taking that stance.

Even if you don't want to download old video games for some moralistic reason, secondhand copies of Policenauts for the PS1 don't cost that much, especially considering it had two reprints. It shouldn't be that hard to rip the game on your PC, download the translation patch, and play it on an emulator.
As for Snatcher, the only English version was the Sega CD one. Considering the fact that Sega hasn't released any Sega CD titles for the Virtual Console at this point, it seems unlikely Konami will release Snatcher for the Wii either. It's either, download the ISO or pay $100+ for a secondhand copy from some eBay seller that won't go to Konami anyway.

And you missed out my point that Konami will not re-release Snatcher in the foreseeable future. Hope all you want, but if Kojima Production wanted to remake Snatcher and Policenauts (just so they can localize the games for overseas players), they would've done so already by now. Instead, we're getting a parody radio drama for Kojima's podcast.

Why the heck is there also a pic of some questionable idol magazine featuring a scantily-clad 15 year old girl? Don't tell me Kojima "read" those kinds of mags when working on the games.

And you missed out my point that Konami will not re-release Snatcher in the foreseeable future. Y'know what, you're not even worth arguing with because you make assumptions like this. No, I didn't miss your point, I was merely trying to justify why Jason X probably hasn't already downloaded the games. Thank you for solidifying your image as an asshole.
