I think we have a new contender: one of(?) the Chocobo themes from Final Fantasy XIII-2 lolsqueenix Seriously, though, THIS for the fucking Chocobos? THIS?! When I see Chocobos I think of rather calm music, not fucking hardcore metal shit! FAKE EDIT: Apparently according to a comment on that vid it's for some crazy-ass Chocobo you meet during the story. Still doesn't mean they had to put hardcore metal shit.

Strangely I find that Chocobo song hilarious. That has to be some sort of joke in the game that triggers that music. It's too silly.
Anyway, back to bad music. This game has good music in it, but the title track...not so much.

I think the Pokemon one mentioned is probably the most awful one. I would say the same for 1942, but I wouldn't even call that music!

This game is turning out exactly like i thought it would when i first heard of it. Just like FFX-2, they take everything good about it and turn it into a lame romance with silly songs. Dammit Square!

Ghosts n' Goblins has very good music, but the version of the game for the Amstrad computer...

Ghosts n' Goblins has very good music, but the version of the game for the Amstrad computer... Seriously? I know a lot of places do covers and remixes of the original G&G music, probably because of nostalgia, but I thought the original was an absolutely awful, ear-splitting tune, like really, really bad symphonic and/or piano playing. Just listen to it.The Amstrad version's is much funkier and pretty damn awesome, with a cool chiptune synth sound to it. The incorporate the main riff into it, while spicing up the rest into something actually palatable. It gets me pumped to struggle onwards with a very difficult game. Ghosts and Goblin's Arcade music: 2/10 Ghosts and Goblin's Amstrad music: 8.5/10

It might be ear-piercing in an emulator, but damn, it's all they can do to even make the music audible in a loud arcade over all those Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and other massively loud machines.
On that note, geez, I can't even count how many 90's arcade machines have engineered their music to have as much bass as possible.

And I thought I was the only one who didn't like the arcade Ghosts 'n Goblins music. Seriously, it's freakin' annoying. The Amstrad music isn't that bad though. I like that.

Ah hey forgot about this thing I discovered a few days back, game hasn't been released and I already don't want it (!): Lollipop Chainsaw already won, clearly. And have I told you people how much I hate jpop? I'd also post the battle music from P4 but I just know some of you guys don't mind it. I actually like the battle music of P4. And while I haven't heard anything of Lollipop Chainsaw's music (and can't at the moment), I don't think that it's so bad that it will put me off the game (which I plan to get as soon as possible). @topic: The title music of Manic Miner on the ZX Spectrum. They probably wanted to show off how good classic music can sound on the Speccy, except that it sounds absolutely horrendous.
