I finished Virtual Boy Wario Land for the first time a couple months back, can confirm it's great fun. I was going to replay it and find all the treasures, but it seems like something's wrong with my Virtual Boy, so it'll have to wait. For some reason the right eye's image is garbled now. I have my Virtual boy since 6th grade and its still working like a champ though its finally starting to show its age (namely the eye images suddenly showing garbles in rare instances).

I wanted Wario Land VB the moment 3DS was announced. There's still time I guess, I just really liked playing the game when I demo it at Toys R Us at the time but could never bother to buy a Virtual Boy for obvious reasons.

Knowing that the 3DS will still be supported (much to the dismay for those who want it dead), We better don't lose our hope in seeing it on the 3DS 'cause playing it on the Switch would lose the factor that ties it with its original VB version: the depth effect

I would remake SaGa Frontier and make it the game it should have been.

Could get away with a Switch collection seeing how there's like 5-6 Nintendo games that can be released with ease. Throw in some 3rd party like Jack Bros and Panic Bomber. Dragon Hopper as a surprise. But the 3D effect is so important to Virtual Boy, I don't think Nintendo would want to drag the system out of their junk drawer for 2D collection when they could hvae done that long ago.

With Nintendo themselves backing away from 3D because of strong 2DS sales, I think we're past the point of a VB collection.

I would remake SaGa Frontier and make it the game it should have been. This would be great, SaGa Frontier is one of my favorite games, but it could have been so much more. I'd love to actually see Fuse's story.

I mean, it would be cool to see a Virtual Boy collection with all the 22 officially released titles for either the 3DS or the Switch + Include both Bound High and Dragon Hopper but that seems more unlikely by the day. Who knows but speaking of Dragon Hopper; Benjamin Stevens at Planet Virtual Boy did say that somebody at a random gaming forum has a prototype of DH but its now up to that person to come foward and dump it online.

I'd be nice to see a new take on NES Seicross with more varied enemies, AI, proper bosses, better stage design, more firing upgrades, a stage map etc.

It really depends on the game, a lot just use the 3D for a mere depth of field effect that is entirely cosmetic, for some it's more important to have the spatial view. But Wario Land and Jack Bros. are the only two VB games worth playing anyways, and they don't need 3D. I'm honestly a bit suprised Atlus never made a cheap 2D smartphone graphic overhaul of Jack Bros. to either put on Android/iOS or have it as a minigame in one of their other games like Catherine's Rapunzel. Nor that Nintendo never made a Super Mario Advance like version of Wario Land VB.

Panzer Dragoon seriesI'd be happy with just a HD Collection to make it playable on modern systems, but I guess you could also redo the graphics in the Saturn games. Well, you asked for it, alright. Still no Saga yet. link

Wow, this topic is over a decade old!
And while it looks like I've responded in here twice, on neither occasion did I suggest remaking Jumping Flash.
But Jumping Flash is like, my #1 game in the "why the hell has an HD remake/sequel not happened yet?!" category. Seriously, how cool would a Jumping Flash revival be?!
Also, Sorcerian. Have I said Sorcerian in here previously? If not... then yeah. Sorcerian. That game was ahead of its time, with constant expansion pack releases adding new missions that would translate 100% perfectly to modern-day DLC. Falcom could be making money off of that game for YEARS. It's almost a no-brainer, yet for some reason, it hasn't happened!

I brought this up in the Cuphead thread, but I'd love to see a remake of the Genesis Fantasia game take a similar stylistic approach.
