Ok, next one: Air Combat vs Air Combat 22. Who's played the latter one? I suspect it wasn't a genuine sequel, more like an update.

Sega Bass Fishing or Get Bass had a sequel -Sega Marine Fishing. Which do you think is more "well-known"?

Has anyone mentioned Countdown Vampires? It was an obvious attempt to cash in on the Survival Horror craze. Psx game. It's been mentioned on the 2nd page. I don't know how relevant is this Checklist thread-chances are, there's a new horror themed game coming out every day. Maid of Sker looks scary, YT asks you to sign in for age confirmation.

As a horror fan I like his work and he's quite good at making creepy and unsettling stories, however sometimes his stuff becomes a little too much surreal and bizarre and then it gets past horrific/revolting and becomes goofy and comical instead. I don't know if it's one of his personal quirks or if it's just the cultural difference between us Westerners and the Japanese. A colleague on his left thinking: "Monsters. Guess after this there'll be one less to worry about." Or not..

A thread about Seiken Densetsu mobile game made me to dig up this: Garou Densetsu vs Fighter's History Dynamite for japanese cellphones. I like loopy background music during those 'character conversation' sequences in particular. Sound effect on the button presses pretty much ruins it, otherwise i could listen to it all day.

The original control scheme makes sense for the mobile platform. Just tap to move/attack anywhere/everything. But there’s still something about pressing actual buttons or clicking a mouse that tapping a screen never quite feels right or satisfying. I'm always disappointed when a game doesn't follow Eternium's lead when it comes to controls. I could totally see Diablo working with such a control scheme. In Diablo Immortal case, it uses either Eternal Realm's or Crusaders of Light's controls, other games from Netease they're partnering with. Played neither of them. Guess they dropped tried & tested one, since you can't have that many options for touchscreen controls anyway.

Like many of you have probably noticed,Blizzard announced a new Diablo game for phones today. It looks awful! The reception has been absolutely horrendous for that one, especially from the faithful older fans crowd. I'm not sure how well these action games transition to touch-screen devices, when you cover a part of your screen with your fingers just to move a character.

Fight Fever a 2D fighting video game for the Neo-Geo had a first and only Korean title official release in the country and had an obscure sequel - The Eye of Typhoon for MS-DOS and 3DO.

Resident Evil 4. It's a great game but.... not a great Resident Evil game. Let me guess, you must be Ben, right? Re 3: Nemesis sounds as much as a "side story" as Lost in Nightmares DLC for RE 5 for me. At the end of the day, we've been left to deal with our "inner" comparisons to deal with, while they tried to "reset".

Someone mentioned Mystic Nights for the PS2 a ways back. Chris of Chris's Survival Horror Quest just managed to snag a copy in Seoul a couple of months ago. Link - horror.dreamdawn.com/Anyone know much about this game? I've seen a couple of screenshots and even a LP on youtube, but there doesn't seem to be any info one what the game's story is actually about. I played through it last year, here's my short summary: hg101.proboards.com/user/3175/recent?q=mystic
