I never did get the importance of cockpit view in racing games. You literally stare through 2 bloody screens--one is your monitor, and the next is car's windshield in-game. It just obstructs a view and it supposed to replicate the real thing. Really? If you ever get the chance to play with a real deal setup and go into cab mode it's a pretty cool experience. Like if you have the whole steering wheel/pedal/gear shift thing. Playing with a manual transmission in Cruisin' USA's arcade cabinet is one of my favorite childhood memories. You know, i've been thinking about VR thing recently. That'd be interesting to try, it would give me a whole different visual perspective i suppose. Dirt Rally in VR mode for instance.

I feel like WayForward games are inoffensive but rarely great. Contra 4 is their best work by a country mile, IMO. Contra 4 is Ok, but it would seem to suffer from 'geekiness' a bit tho. I think later Shantae games tops it by a fraction.

TMNT III lists 3 different composers 'on-board', including Tomoya Tomita, nevertheless it's really really good.

I dream of the day when you can play the games you wanna play without having to buy 3-4 different consoles. It's never gonna happen, is it? I'd be so up for it.

Anyway, I guess you can add Dead Space to the pile of dead franchises since EA has closed Visceral games. Or Army Of Two for that reason. I only tried the 2nd game, it seemed rather decent. ** Did some searching on Timesplitters series today. Apart from some vague fans freeware project, i'd say it's pretty much R.I.P. Also i wouldn't count on a new Red Faction release anymore.

Command & Conquer, Dune, Gradius, Burnout, Syphon Filter. Since Gabe Logan is dead. Maybe Lian could've been the character they pivot to? Bend's busy with Day's Gone so. New Sony Bend IP man. I know zombies are done to death but at least it has some vehicular elements. Seems that way. I only played a couple on PSX and nothing after that, couldn't say i'm missing it all that much.

This is definitely a niche product. I'm all for emulation and ROMs, but find myself never making use of them because they aren't on my tv. It just feels less compelling to play something on my monitor as opposed to my television. Sure, you can get the same kind of retro controller and output your video from your PC to your tv, but it's still not the same as playing on hardware with no emulation errors. I'm likely missing the point here, but it's a TV you're after, not the emulation errors, isn't it Jason ?

Nightshade (NES) I used to play this quite a bit, but never managed to complete it. The adventure aspects are good, and some of the writing is funny. Unsurprisingly the combat in this game has always been the absolute worst element. The main problem is that while the bosses are actually not too bad, the regular enemies can be absolutely brutal since the hardest ones don't have a special trick to beating them. Still though, it's a little sad that there wasn't a sequel. The SNES Shadowrun does build upon this, but it would have been nice to see a sequel that expanded on the Egyptian elements. Total: 69 Letters: ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOP-RSTUVWXYZ You're not on Quantum Break next dsparil, are you ?

I know it's been brought up so many times to the point of being annoying, but Streets of Rage 3 will probably forever be doomed by SOR 2. And i'm not sure that was so fundamentally wrong with it, as i like it slightly better over the 2nd. OST was a bit lacking, but what else!? As far as I know, the reason could be the american difficulty, because it makes some battles really tedious like Jet. His life bar is huge and you need lots of patience. It is not hard, but on the annoying side. Yours sincerely Jack Caeylin Hmm.. could be, but i'm thinking about other beat-em ups, that had been released that year and would have been responsible for weaker sales and overall likeness..

"You think I wanna blow Sunday on a scene like this?" "Look at this thing. "We still remember"? I don't!" Romero's living dead trilogy are classics and heck, I even liked Land of The Dead (never bothered with the final two though) Completely. I don't remember much about the later flicks, but the original Night of the Living Dead has one of the best first 10 min. of any movie i've seen personally. Cheeky stuff

Then Complete Entertainment Exchange(CeX), Cash Converters etc. I don't resell games I buy, even if I dislike them. I learned my lesson selling of some Saturn games years ago that I can't buy back now because they're too pricey I had a PAL copy of that slightly dodgy Atlantis game. It's like 100+ bucks to buy back now. I can easily get that, but these places usually have another benefit - you could dig up some rarer games there, as opposed to other video games retailers. People bring all sort of stuff there. IIRC i found Gradius Gaiden and Ikaruga for GC a few years back, probably some others i don't remember..
