Sure, no problem, I can do that today(even now^^ just say it, I am free [for 60 minutes - 150 minutes]) or tomorrow afternoon/evening in the middle european time. Just say the ingame location and how to transfer items, because I really don't know. At worst case I can even help on Sunday, but only for a limited time in the evening. Edit: Keep in mind that my lvl is 165. I think lvl is important, if you want to meet someone. You don't have to rush anything. We can even do that next Friday or Saturday. I have lots to do this week and weekend so I can't commit on a specific time and don't want to waste yours... so I was sort of thinking of whenever we both meet up online. Password matchmaking is supposed to bypass all the level stuff, but I haven't tested it personally yet.

(like now) Just concentrate on work. My help won't run away, which means don't worry "Well, members come and go. Hollows gather and start ganking. ;D" Dee Liteyears That's an awesome and funny quote x'D Yours sincerely Jack Caeylin

For my part, I really enjoy just how aggressive and varied the movesets of the knight enemies are. Those guys are the best enemies, hands down. It's a shame they're pretty weak to you charging up a strong attack and them charging straight into it. Heck, almost every enemy in the game is weak to that. On another subject, the Platinum trophy is really a bitch to get, maybe the most tedious yet in the Soulsborne series. Looks like you're forced to participate in all covenants and max most of them (30 items/ successful invasions). Game just lost a point in my book. Got the Platinum today - I was having fun getting the Covenant Items for the Covenants that work okay. Unfortunately the Blue Sentinel's / Blades of the Darkmoon / Watch Dogs of Farron don't seem to work very well despite the most recent patch that has apparently tried fixing the matchmaking. I was never once summoned for the Watchdogs nor Blue Sentinel's. Twice I was summoned for the Darkmoon and well...both times the invaders left the game ¬_¬ Grinding the Wolfgrass wasn't too bad for drops. The Proof of Concorde's kept? Jesus wept! Also bad news guys but I am relatively certain co-op buddies can't drop Covenant items for you- boooo! Better news - if the Nameless King was giving you grief you can now summon for him- I'd recommend solo'ing him at least once though for your own satisfaction. I really loved Dark Souls 3. Vastly preferred it to Dark Souls 2 - I think DS2 still remains my least favourite in the series (I am including Demon's Souls and Bloodborne). I think (currently) I'd rank them; Dark Souls, Dark Souls 3, Bloodborne, Demon's Souls then Dark Souls 2. I don't think Demon's Souls is a bad game but there are many things I was glad to see removed from the series- the item weight limit / half health on death thing was something no one needed. I also loved the amount of things in Dark Souls 3 that felt like call backs to Demon's Souls just as much as the DS1 fan service. Dark Souls 2 - I don't mean to imply it is bad or anything like that. I personally found it to be a little blander than the rest - there are only so many variants of giant knights one can fight.

Is it me, or is this game pretty stingy on dealing out souls?

It can definitely seem that way early on but I didn't have any problems as things progressed

Dark Souls 2 is super bland and took everything about the series to its worst conclusions. Too many ultra super anime weapons, too focused on big sparkly spectacle - everything is just too shiny. Even then it's by no means a bad or even mediocre game, and is in fact quite good on its own, but as a part of the larger series it feels very odd-man-out in a lot of respects. It is very much the middle child even in the larger context of the souls n blood series as well as just among Dark Souls.
I like DS3 a lot but I would prefer to see more Bloodborne. I prefer BB's play style outside or a few middling issues that would certainly get fixed in a sequel, but BB is so good on its own that I would not be upset if they never made another one.

I'm with you on Bloodborne. So many aspects worked out so well that it's a little hard to go back to a Souls game. The pacing of the fights, the stun mechanics, life recovery system, and summoning were great. I even like the limited weapon selection in hindsight. While I like open ended customization, the weapons of Bloodborne were so unique and just about all were really fun to use.

Dark Souls 3 has been put on the backburner since I am moving on to completing other games I've never beaten and/or played before. But I will return to it. Beat Dark Souls 1 a few weeks ago and I got to say after playing 3 first and then 1 that I like 1 better overall. Considering Poise actually works in Dark Souls 1, heavy armor was actually useful.
Seems like wasted stat points in DS3 since its an entirely separate stat for wearing heavy armor. I think my next character will just have enough Equip load for some decent mediumish armor and the rest will be in HP and Stamina, plus whatever offensive stat I decide to go with.

I dunno if this is the place to ask this, but---I'm not the only one that thinks Dark Souls 2 was a worthy entry in the series, am I? The only complaint I had is that the Zweihander's moveset is little like it was in DS1. The Scholar of the First Sin edition is a very nice package that also has its challenge rating on par with the original.

Absolutely agree with you. It wasn't as tightly designed as the first, but I still love it for what it is.

Eh, the original had its own flaws, so I appreciate them both.
One thing I *really* like is the surprising effort that went into DS2's friendly summons and NPC invaders. The summons introduced in the DLC and Scholar edition could be surprisingly clever at times (and funny---I think there's two summons that you can have with you during the Sir Alonne fight, and depending on their AI they may decide to sit on the sidelines and be the peanut gallery while you and Alonne have a proper duel).

Oh yeah. That fight was a real bastard. Good times. The grotesque creatures in the underground ship area were a nice addition, too. Overall, I just liked how it grew the story by saying that fate is doomed to repeat itself. Real history works basically the same way, with people never learning from the mistakes of the past.

Yeah, Kaname, I'm a fan of DSII too! Don't listen to the naysayers! Having gone back to it, I admire that DSII allowed itself to make wider open areas, not everything has to be dank and labyrinthine. Although... the action does seem noticeably different in a wonky way. No to start a flame war, but to me Bloodborne is the bastard child of the bunch, but it's still very good.
As Jason knows, I have a theory that DSIII is giving litle stabs at DSII's expense, which you could hear all about one day! But anyway, I didn't know until some days ago that Creighton the Wanderer is in the game and Shalquoir the cat gets a mention. That's something!

So I'm much kinder to it than the first one actually.

DS2 is a fine game, it's just roundly the weakest of the series, which is kind of like winning bronze at the Olympics.
