Imaginary sequels

Just for fun, let's speculate about sequels that never were, but we wish they had happened, it could be for games that never got any sequels or a series that petered out or it could be an alternate, better version of a sequel that did get made.
I'll start with a Haunting Ground 2, I don't really think you could make a direct sequel to Haunting Ground starring Fiona and Hewie again as the storyline for the first game seemed pretty standalone, however you could still simply tell an all new story but with the same style and vibe as the first game and another girl and her dog, so following Capcom's usual method of the "the sequel is set in a city" (RE2, DMC2, Dead Rising 2) I imagine a Haunting Ground 2's settings being instead of an Italian castle but a Venice esque city, one that is eerily empty save for a group of killers on the loose, the storyline could involve alchemy again like the first game and overall I picture as maintaining the same "giallo"/Dario Argento vibe as the first game.
The problem of course is that Haunting Ground came out pretty late in the 6th gen's life cycle, so a Haunting Ground 2 would probably have to have been a PS3 game and survival horror's popularity dried up for a while during that gen, so I can't really imagine a likely scenario where a Haunting Ground 2 would have been possible, but it's fun to dream.
And keeping with survival horror, I like to imagine ways Silent Hill could have gone after 3, I like to imagine what a better version of Silent Hill 4 could have been like, one more in keeping with the gameplay style of the previous 3 and with a better story, I'm sure 4 would have still involved the Wish House Orphanage in some way, maybe a group of now adult former orphans are drawn to Silent Hill and the former orphanage to deal with something terrible that happened there, something involving the cult, I just wonder what Wish House could have been like as a full fledged Silent Hill level rather than the surprisingly brief visit to it in Silent Hill 4: The Room.
But let's say Silent Hill 4 still happened as it was and imagine what a Team Silent developed Silent Hill 5 for the PS3 would have been like, I've thought about that a lot, I can tell you.
And it may seem like we know nothing about what it could have been like save for one interesting detail, in 2007 a manga called Silent Hill: Double Under Dusk was released exclusively for cell phones in Japan, written by Hiroyuki Owaku, it told the story of a father who's son has died and he hears a legend about Silent Hill as a town where the "dead come back to life" and along with a mysterious woman he meets, ventures into the town.
Supposedly the story also involves the mysterious church located on a small island in Toluca lake glimpsed briefly in one of Silent Hill 2's endings, I wonder if that's what a Silent Hill 5 would have been about? It gets your imagination going.
