Thanks; I beat the game now. I didn't get all the Red Gems, apparently; I'll have to look online to see which ones I happened to miss. Then there's also the other two difficulty achievements, but aside from that I've done everything else in the game. I'm glad I beat it  I don't know yet how I'd compare it to other Suda51 games, but I really liked it. The "get all the red gems" achievement is misleading - you actually just need to fully upgrade every weapon. This can be done fairly easily on easy mode, I suggest looking up an exploit or two if you're worried about coming out a little short, though. There's a cyber demon enemy in the library area you can hit with a light shot to knock him down at a very specific time when he's pulling back from an attack. From there, you can stop on him to get up to 999 gems, since he can't be killed due to having armor that would need to be exploded on him. * Edit: Sorry there, it's fully upgrade EVERYTHING, not just the weapons. I forgot there was more to upgrade than just the weapons lol |

I"m pretty sure that PSN keeps a download history you can re-download anything from for as long as the service stays up. I know Xbox does, and I can't see why PSN wouldn't.

I hate Capcom more than anyone else at this point in time and have no personal attachment to the Darkstalkers series that makes me "hope" it will actually happen. It would just be an insanely ridiculous business decision to tease like this and follow-up with nothing.

Oh come on ;p This is definitely nailing the coffin shut. There's no way it's not happening, now.
Well, okay, what Jonny said might happen, but it's at least obvious they're working on a new DS game. They wouldn't dare tease fans with something that they're not working on after storming up a PR disaster with Mega Man Legends 3.

Yeah, I'd like to know if I need to shell out $15 for R Type Dimensions. You should buy it anyway >:0 Anyway, I already have all the DLC Irem stuff I want, except maybe R-Types, which might be nice to have in digital form (I already have it for PS1). This is really depressing, though. Oh, also, does anyone have detailed plot analysis of Tactics 1 and 2? I tend to hate grid-based SRPGs and the second game was never even released in English, and the Wiki articles are somewhat lacking, I'd really like to read up on them. |
